In order to make every time you visit our site as smooth, seamless and cohesive as possible, we’re updating our Home and History pages by giving them a new look as well as improving some of the functions available on each.
Check out our recap of our latest update and be sure to switch to your new home to see your new features in action.
A new home for your workouts
Your home page has just been given a fresh new look as well as some very sought-after functionalities to make browsing your news feed, summary, stats and more better than ever. Want to check out your new home page now? Then just click on the “switch views” button at the top of your screen.
When you go to your new home, you’ll still have access to all your favorite web features, including your monthly stats overview
and overall summary, list of personal records, news feed showing what your friends are up to, status updates and lots more.
Aside from the design revamp, one of the improvements we’re introducing on your new home page is to give you a better overview of each workout in your news feed. Now, you’ll be able to see the calories you’ve burned on each workout as well as your distance and duration. If you’ve added pictures to your workout, they’ll be vibrantly displayed along with your basic stats.
If you’re a Premium users, you’ll be able to view the next planned workout on your training plan. That way, you’ll be sure you never miss a run or a chance to set a new personal record. Whenever you create a new training plan, new update will show up in your feed with more details about the plan, including the type of plan and your start and end dates.
Yet another coveted feature we’re releasing with this new update is to give you an easy way to see your ranking on the challenges you’re participating in, with your friends’ rankings listed right alongside yours.
A history of your fitness
Your history page is still the place to go to if you want to revisit your workouts, but we’ve just made it a more dynamic experience. You can still filter your workouts by tags, by duration, by title, by sport or by routes. Merging your workouts is clearer than ever and you can merge up to 3 workouts to create a new one.
You can also compare up to three workouts and view them in graphs, but now, you’ll be able to customize different columns in order to do a more in-depth comparison of your performance with the data that matters most to you.
We’ve also made it simpler to browse through your workout history by displaying the sport icon in your list as well as the title of your workout. By hovering over a specific workout, you’ll be able to view the type of sport in text.
We hope you enjoy your new home and history pages, and we’d love to hear your feedback so we can continue to improve your experience. Please be sure to check them out and let us know what you think by writing to us at: email@example.com or by sharing your thoughts in the comments.
