A few weeks ago, the Endomondo Copenhagen team hopped on a plane San Francisco bound to visit the new US office, do some work and have a little endorphin freeing fun.
There was no time to recover from jet lag, we had to roll up our sleeves and get down to serious business—dodgeball.
House of Air became an Endomondo playground for one afternoon while we all bounced around and competed for dodgeball glory.
After the dodgeball tournament was settled and one team was found victorious we were able to get down to real business.
We’ve experienced a lot of growth here at Endomondo so it was time for a little history lesson from our founders and to hear from every team of the company on where we’ve been, where we are and where we’re going. Teamwork was a big theme of the week long trip and we wasted no time breaking into groups, putting our heads together and coming up with a solid vision of the future.
The photo of the notecards above are a pretty good representation of the kind of passion and attitude we all have toward continuing to create an awesome social fitness tool: keep the craziness, love our users, always give 100%, kick ass with respect, keep challenging and no BS.
If you’ve ever traveled to San Francisco, you know that the one place you absolutely must visit is the Golden Gate Bridge. Since we’re all about freeing our endorphins there was only one logical way experience it—by bike. With our cycle gear on, we hit the street and rode along the coast across the bridge & into Sausalito for a picnic before riding back.
There couldn’t have been a better day to be on a bike and the ride was the perfect way to end one helluva trip!
