Endomondo Premium and Challenges in the Android App
Following in footsteps of the iPhone app, our app for Android now offers two of our Premium features already existing on the website: Heart Rate Zones and Weather Information. Going forward Premium membership will give access to all the website features – including the Pro app as part of the full package. See the list of Premium features below:
Premium membership is a subscription service. You can go with an Annual membership for $19.99 or with a Monthly membership for $2.99. If you already have the Pro app, you will get the Annual membership for $15 for the first year. Go to our Premium page for more info.

Besides Heart Rate Zones and Weather Information, our newest Android release offers the following new features:
Workout summary includes altitude data
More data is displayed in workout summary in the newest Android version 8.5.0, specifically min./max. altitude, total ascent and total descent.
Challenges
Challenges are becoming more and more popular so we have decided to add them in the app as well. You can explore challenges and filter them by sport or challenge type. The details include overview, leaderboard and comments. You can also join or leave a challenge from the app and view the challenges you are participating in. At the moment Team Challenges are only visible at the website.

What about android version 2.1? I cant download update…
Doesen’t work on LG L5 after this new update. Fix this becouse I really like this apps, but right now I can’t use this becouse it’s crashed all the time.
Same device same problem. Just bought premium because of the PRO feautures you get. Everything worked just fine before the update.

I think its wrong charging when already paid for pro app . out of order . greed.:-( I’ll just stick to other apps which have same but DON’T CHARGE MORE,:-\
Last year I bought the Zephyr HRM from the Endomondo shop as well as the Pro app, expecting to be able to get full HRM functionality such as heart rate zones feedback during the workout. Since the app only gave hr stats after the workout, I have been using Runtastic Pro which does work as demanded.
Now it turns out I have to get a premium Endomondo subscription to see heart rate zones, and from the description it’s not even clear if that will give me real time feedback. I am very disappointed with Endomondo, because I had such high hopes and genuinely like the app. I appreciate that you guys have to earn a living, but I think I bought enough from Endomondo (Zephyr, pro app) to be entitled to full functionality…

Did you remove the heart rate monitoring features from the PRO version and moved them to the Premium version? :-/ Are you also going to put back ads? It seems like desperate move that alienate your current PRO customers.
